    Thank you!
I don't think so. There have been a lot of delays recently. Just look around the forum and you'll find a lot of people that had delays between sending the application and getting receipts. My application is one of them (sent application 3/18/19, got receipts dated 5/3/19).

Make sure to keep an eye on everything, and if the wait starts getting long (like past 1 month), call USCIS and try to speak to an L2 Representative to see what's going on.

Thanks for your response. Yes, my PD for I-130 has become current (my PD is July, 2018), and I am eligible to file AOS this month. So I filed I-485 on June 1st, and my application was received on June 3rd. More than 3 weeks have passed, and USCIS does not seem to have started to process my application. But it could be because my PD for I-130 is later than yours?
You seem to have done everything right. Im sure its just a delay in the processing as the visa bulletin had finally advanced after a year. So everyone in f2a is probably filing at the same time. So just wait patiently you will get it soon

        1. Adjustment Applicant under Section 245--(c)(9). File Form I-765 together with Form I-485, Application to
Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, or if filing separately, submit a copy of your I-485 receipt notice or other evidence that your Form I-485 is pending.
NOTE: If you are an asylee or refugee and have applied to adjust to lawful permanent resident status on Form I-485,
file Form I-765 under category (a)(5) as an asylee or (a)(3) as a refugee. Do not file under eligibility category (c)(9).
You will need to pay the filing fee or obtain a fee waiver for Form I-765 if your Form I-485 is still pending with
USCIS and this is not your first EAD as a refugee or asylee and you did not pay the Form I-485 filing fee for any
        reason.
See the bold part that clears things. As long as your I-485 is pending, you can file free of charge form I-765 to get and renew your EAD. Some people send the renewal several times (cases that take years).

But I agree, is not perfectly clear the information on some forms.

Thank you for the reply. So, I had sent them filing fee with the I-765 and haven’t heard back in 3 weeks. So, do you guys think they will just mail a rejection and send the filing package back? They don’t “ignore” the filing fee?

            Thanks

I read a case recently that the extra check was returned. I hope they do the same in your case.
Don't worry anyway, if they return everything, just file again without payment and a copy of the I-485 receipt.

Many people do that (we didn't).
If you want to do it, just go in show the letter and ID, don't say that your appointment is for a different date. It looks like most people that tell them that appointment is for another date get rejected and those who doesn't say anything are able to do it. Good luck.

Thank you. I have a very similar filing timeline to yours and I just received my biometrics letter today in the mail. Nothing changed online though (on my USCIS account it just still says application received) and I'm also wondering about the biometrics walk-in on next Monday.
