I just called them . They Said they have received my fingerprint on my 1-485 form but not my i765. and something wrong with her computer (she wasn't sure it just her computer or all of it ) ,she said she will need her assistant to restore... she suggest me call back after 2-3 hours

Please keep us updated. I hope they fix that issue for you, if they do I might try and call them too.
I haven't received any updates after "We received your case" and I already received a biometrics appointment letter and already did it a month ago too. Didn't try to call them before because I heard it's okay sometimes the system doesn't update but it would be so nice and relieving if they could fix it!

Figured I'd share that I'm another June applicant PD 06/10 and I requested an expedite for my EAD and just last night I received the notification that "New Card is Being Produced". Timeline below:


Application Sent: 06/05/2019

PD: 06/10/2019
EAD Notice date: 06/14/2019
Biometrics notice: 06/21/2019
EAD Expedite request: 07/03/2019
Bio appointment: 07/10/2019 - same day notification "fingerprints have been reviewed"
EAD expedite additional documents notice: 07/11/2019
EAD expedite sent paperwork via fax: 07/16/2019
Senator EAD expedite request: 08/06/2019
New card being produced: 08/08/2019

I received a Courtesy Letter today for the missing form I-693 (Medical Exam) it mainly said that if I receive an interview notice I should bring the i-693 to the interview, and if my case doesn't need an interview I'll receive an RFE letter to sent them my I-693.

Does this mean that the case is moving forward? Anyone didn't submit the I-693 with the application and received the courtesy letter yet?
I haven't received any updates online on Status Tracker since Case Received but I've done bio-metrics and everything a month ago

mnewportland yes, a lot of people receive the courtesy letter and it means that they looked at your file and they see that form was missing, so it is good news. It is a good time to check https://my.uscis.gov/findadoctor and ask around about prices.

I already had the bio appointment a month and a half ago. But my I-485 status is stuck on "Fingerprints Fee Was Received". No other progress in any other form.

I am in the process of having EAD expedited though. Working hard to make it happen

I guess June fillers will see our status changes to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" throughout the month of August?

This is my process so far:

6/12/19- filed concurrently adjustment of status with i-131 and i485 along with i765
6/18/19- USCIS Received my case.
PD: 6/24/19
7/22/19- finger print completed
7/23/19- status on i485 and i765 changed to fingerprint review completed
7/25/19- asked congressman to send and expedite request due to job offer.
8/13/19- sent USCIS an expedite request for i765
8/19/19- got an email to send additional info for expedite and sent it the same day.
8/26/19- Email saying expedite was completed and should receive a decision soon- nothing till now.
8/28/19- Received RFE for I485.
9/2/19- Mailed all the docs requested by Uscis.
9/5/19- docs received by uscis.

Nothing about ead since last update and nothing else changed.


My opt authorization ends in 10/10/19 and I really don't want to lose my job. Is there anything else I can do?
I work for the state and many children would be directly affected if I were to leave the school district. Should I be worried?

I do have large 7K credit card debt , my husband still able to pay for it .
but, I have a pending job offer(my dream job ) , really don't want to lose this opportunity .
now , I am worry my reasons might not be strong enough to expedite . what do you guys think ?

I don’t know what to think about the expedite thing. I really believe is a lottery depending on the officer that reviews the case. Mine has been “under review” for more than 3 weeks...

it’s a dumpster fire. So I guess we have to keep bugging and bugging until we get what we want.

I received an email and the status changed online to new card is being produced for the EAD. I requested to expedite it about a month ago and got the senator, and the congressman to help. It's been very stressful to wait without knowing what's going on, so thank you everyone for supporting each others and sharing the your stories here, especially rl130, I hope you get yours very soon as well! its been almost 3 months since uscis recieved my documents "june 7" and my status hasnt change "name was updated for both i 485 and ead " any advice ?

Did you hear anything from your Congressman or USCIS regarding the EAD? I hope you get it soon enough to take the job.

Still nothing. I followed up with Congressman's office and he said he talked to the agency and they are working quickly to have everything expedite. So I guess keep waiting and pray.
