Filed in November 2019 through NBC, interview date set and NO EAD!!! Help!!!

Hey Guys,

So timeline is as follows: processing through the NBC but interview in Idaho

nov 30 2018: submitted i485, i765, i130, i131
jan 3 2019: biometrics done
May 4: Form i-693 received
June 7: Interview to be scheduled
June 10: Letter received for interview end of July

1. No EAD in sight- has anyone experienced this, and did they send it before the interview?
(spoke to a lawyer and they say it's unusual but may come 1-2 weeks before the interview)
2. Also I hear that after the interview if they decide ti review case, you can request they produce your EAD?
I'm concerned that if they decide to review it may take a an unusual amount of time and i'll still be unable to work)

I have read that some people get the EAD a few weeks before interview, one case that the EAD arrived 1 day before the GC and some cases that the EAD never produced but got approved on the spot and the GC about a week after interview.

One question, you wrote:

are you bringing the I-693 to the interview or did you already send it to USCIS?

Thanks for the response. The inconsistency in how they handle cases is so stressful. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it comes prior to the interview, and GC is approved on the spot.

You'll probably get your GC approved before your EAD gets processed.

hopefulandhappy Field office is in Boise, Idaho. Spoke to a lawyer today and they said the same thing, that EAD may or may not come prior to interview and GC may be approved first. I'm hoping and praying. Thanks for the response!

If you get a green card you no longer need your EAD. EAD is only good till green card is approved.

My Office was Boston Mass.
