  • Interview was completed but case needs to be reviewed - missing I-130

    Hello guys,

My husband and I had the interview on May 8th. Officer said that he could not approve the case just yet because he was missing the I-130 file. He said that he would request it but he wouldn't know how long it would take to get it on his hands. We called customer service after a month but all they said is to keep waiting.
Any ideas on what we can do to speed up the process? Has any of you had the same experience? How long did you have to wait?

    Thanks in advance

Hi Mojoemzo, how come they didn't have your i-130? Did they mention why they didn't have it?
Isn't it their job to provide all the package at the date of the interview? ((( that's the least they can do...

Hi guys! We got a online status change that the case was denied. Not sure why? I hope is not because they lost my I 130. at this point we got a lawyer but he can't think of any reason either. We have to wait for the denial letter to try to fix it. So sad! Any progress for you Dijavu1988?

mojoemzo I was told the exact same thing. What happened to your case? Was your I-130 approved?

I'm in the same boat. They told me my I-130 was at the National Benefits Center and he had to send them an email for them to mail it to him and that it'd take about 3 weeks.
