AOS interview cancelled, no updates since then :( :(

Just an update.. anyone else in the same boat as me?

My status changed to "ready to schedule interview" some time last year around May 2018... then January 2019, I receive notification that interview scheduled. Interview was for Feb 25th. however, on February 20th I receive text that interview cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances... I thought it was an error so i logged on the website and it said interview cancelled that i will receive notice in mail. I also got a call from USCIS officer saying the interview was cancelled and i will get notice in mail. maybe 2 weeks later i got notice of the cancellation in the mail. I have been waiting since then for a re-schedule and nothing. no updates at all.... I filed for EAD/AP renewal March 2019 a month after they cancelled my interview. I received the receipt notification for both renewals but also no update since then. I know my EAD will automatically renew for 180 days with the receipt but what about my AP???

Is anyone else in this boat?

Damn, that sucks. Really sorry to hear that this happened to you. A common suggestion around here is to call them and talk to a Tier 2 rep and see if they can tell you what's going on with your case. Hang in there!!

Same thing happened to me, they cancelled my interview the day before, only it seems their system was down so I didnt get the text until the morning of the interview. However, I received the cancellation and reschedule notice with a week of each other.

you are lucky, which location did you file? mine is atlanta. I am about to start an inquiry because idk what else to do.

Atlanta here too. Had interview on 2/26/2019, got RFE at interview for Birth certificate. Sent it in on 3/21/2019. Still no nothing!!! Honestly going crazy here...

Did your RFE included some legend like "if you don't get updates after 60 days you can call 1-800..."? I hope you get your GC soon.

I called customer service at the end of may and put in a service request, got an email on 5/31 saying my case is still pending and I should receive a decision in 120 days.... just standard response of them saying we didn't do anything to help you, you should just keep waiting...
Contacted congressman shortly after that, and his office reached out to USCIS almost a month ago, still haven't got a response from them. The lady that works on immigration at congressman's office said USCIS has backlog of congressional inquiries. Apparently a lot of people are getting their congressperson involved because of the delay.
