    Rfe

    I received a request for evidence asking for 2018 tax return. We filed in December 2018, therefore we hadn't filed our taxes yet.
    Did anyone else receive an RFE about taxes after 6 months of filling?
    Salt Lake City-UT
    07/24/18- Documents received
    11/16- I-485,765 and 131rejected
    12/22- New I-485, 765 and 131 sent
    12/27- Documents delivered at 10 am (UPS)
    01/14- Credit Card was charged
    01/14- text messages for I-485 and I-131
    01/22- Received form I-765 back. Got rejected due to incorrect fee??
    01/23-Submitted I-765 again.
    01/31- Early Biometrics appointment
    02/01- Fingerprint Review was completed
    07/30- case is ready to be scheduled for ...
    08/31-EAD in hands
    10/22- Interview (approved)

    Yes, it's common. Maybe it took them a long time to get to your case and now they need the 2018 taxes.
    There was another case here who filed in November 2018 and in May 2019 received RFE for the 2018 taxes. What happened after they mailed the taxes? Interview ready to be scheduled

      Wouldn't it be sweet?! But I have no high expectations for now.

        I filed on November 2018, and on July 1,2019 My status changed to need more initial evidence. I hope its not complicated

          It's probably for the taxes like mine. It seems stupid for them to ask that, but it is uscis after all.

            Yes you’re correct its my sisters taxes for 2018. she’s my sponsor so they need her taxes. How long do you think it will take after they get the documents to get a response from USCIS?

              They updated my account on the same day they received my rfe. Nothing else.
