priority date of derivative beneficiary for AOS

You are doing a great service to aspiring immigrants.
I am just wondering how the priority date of family is decided for an employment based petition. I am seeing that the family priority date is neither matching with the priority date of principal nor it is filing date or recept date of I-485 of family?
Is this need to be bring to the notice of USCIS.
Also the receipt # has also some new pattern not ABCyy-ddd-5xxxx. it is like SRC 109003xxxx for a March 12, 2010 receipt.
