forms i 485& I 130 denied what next?

Our I-485 and i 130 just got denied , we received our denial letter today from USCIS says that we did not appear on the interview schedule on 09/20/18. I would like to know, if there has been anyone whose I-485 has been denied and they have reapplied to i-485& i130 or reopen the case with i290B .Thanks

So so sorry. I’d suggest to consult in a lawyer if you can. Is there an important reason why you did not appear on the day of the interview?

We did not get any notice from uscis about the date of the interview.my important question its can i refile again. they give me 30 days to send motion or reopen .i don't wanna file any appeal because 95% they gonna denied.i have 20 days left plz any advice .thanks

No experience but I think I read a case similar to yours. If they denied only for not appearing to the interview, there is no problem to start over and file again. You can explain that you didn't get the interview notice if they ask about your previous filing.

A couple of questions, didn't you get any status change on your online accounts that the interview was scheduled? Did you move? I have read that in some cases, even if they change the address sometimes they send the interview appointment to old address. Good luck.

Get a lawyer and file a motion to reopen. You can refile but thats more money and time

refile.don't waste your time and money with MTR i-290b. I received my denial letter for I-290b after 11 months from filing, but i already refiled everything, so didn't really care. If i knew i would not even try to file i-290b

Mr stassick one more question pls, i need to file i 485 ,i130 and i 130A, i 765, i 131 Is this true ? because my renwal i 765 and i 131 still pending .i think new i 485 needs to fill all the forms again.I appreciate your help thank u.

Mr enub4 > No we didn't move .they didn 't change my status twice Until the date of the interview.

you need to refile everything!!! whole new case.

if they denied your i-485 it means that all associated forms will be denied as well

Hi everyone and Mr Stassick.my old i 485&i130 denied but the renwal i 765&i131 No .they send me the new card on 24 july 2019.i send my new package on 18 july .my fingerprint done yesterday.so i m happy .I would love to share my experience to help others.thanks all .
