  • i-485 approved but i-130 still stuck at case recieved

i am leaving the country in a month. I have my permanent gc (expires in 2 years as it is conditional). will i have any problems if my i-130 has not been approved yet? I didnt get anything in the mail for that application aside from the notice of receipt when i filled. Will that something i have to worry about? Do i just bring my GC when i come back?

I didn't know you can get a GC without an approved I-130, maybe they did approve but didn't update the system?
From what I read they expect you to carry the GC all the time (I don't think all people do).

I don't recall getting an approval letter in the mail for the i-130. Only for the i-485.

Your I-485 is dependent on your I-130. So they can not approve your I-485 unless I-130 is approved. Someone just forgot to update the I-130 status to approved.

Same issue here, but I received the approval letter of I-485 and I-130 even though the website had not updated.
