  • Went to an interview today and....

    Hi all,

I just wanted to share my story with you and today, my husband and I went to an interview for my GC status in DTLA. Let me break it down in 2 parts.
One - everything went well and the IO was pretty serious and asking a lot of questions about me such as my name? My DOB? Place of birth? My mother's name? My husband's middle name and his DOB and where? etc. Basically, he was going through the questions on file that we submitted. Asked my husband how did we meet? Where did you meet? Then I gave him our evidence to prove our marriage. ***NOTE: He told us 4 main keys that will prove your marriage 100% were children together, mortgage, tattoos, and pet license with both of your name on it.
Two - This one should be very VERY interesting. We didn't get any approval today. The case was holding back for further investigation. Apparently, they are very serious about how did you get into the United States. In my case, I have a problem with my I-20. Apparently, there are a lot of fraud schools in America. Los Angeles, on Wilshire, in K-town. If you're going to any of the schools in this location. Please BE CAREFUL. Because it could ruin your case and you might need a lawyer. So, that being said, my case is under investigation and I know my school was legit because I went to classes, there were teachers and credits to transfer to the university.

So after 60 days, I should hear back from them in the mail and I just wanted to share and warn all the people out there with fraudulent schools. BE CAREFUL! ICE is under investigate everyone cases.

Hope this help guys and good luck to all

          Hi Maria,

You should take a picture of the tattoo and print it out. Put it in evidence section so he/she can keep it in file and for my case, I was very surprised that "My card is being mailed to me" today. I just checked my case status online and I'm glad that the whole interview process went well. Hopefully I will have my GC in hands by the end of this week and good luck on your journey.
