Got RFE and....

Hi everyone.

I received a RFE from USCIS stating that we need to use i-864 instead of i-864EZ and letter also said they need the form 2555, a Foreign Earned Income form which im afraid we don't have. Aside from that, they asked for w2 and all that which we all have except for 2555. Does anyone have the same experience beforehand? Would that be a problem if i don’t submit that form? Thanks a lot.

What is the purpose of Form 2555?
Form 2555 and Form 2555-EZ. Form 2555, Foreign Earned Income, can be used to claim the foreign earned income exclusion. It must be used to claim the foreign housing exclusion or deduction.

If they ask for it, then you must submit it even if you put $0 there. Good luck.

No, but from what I read, if they ask for something we need to give them everything they ask or they could deny the application.
