Finger Printing at a different ASC?

Thank you for helping the aspiring immigrants!
1. One of the derivative applicant for I-485 is away from home at school. Can he go to an ASC close to school instead of assigned for home (application has home address). State for home and school is same but field office is different?
2. If yes, do you recommend that?
3. What documents need to be taken for finger printing?
