What is the "Current immigrant status" for pending I-539?

We're in the process of switching from J-2 to H-4. The J-2 is expired now, but I-539 was filed before J-2 expired. H1B has been approved, but H-4 I-539 is currently pending (I-539 was filed together with I-129, using premium processing).

How can we answer the question "What is your current immigration status?" on the I-485 form? The current immigration status is not J-2 or H-4, and it's also not unlawfully stay since there is a pending I-539.
