Its a little over 3 months since my first interview at Federal Plaza and today I received a letter saying that I have another interview on August 22nd. I’m a little confused since the IO said everything was fine and he recommended approval. Anyways, how do I prep for this interview? Will it be a stokes interview? Any input in gladly appreciated

have you received any approval notice after your first interview? if not, then this could be a stoke interview. If it is, they will separate both of you to interview for hours with a lot of questions and they will compare how many answers are match and dont match. Be prepare. Maybe consult a lawyer if you are not sure what to do. Good luck with everything.

I got a letter too yesterday with the same thing. Interview was in February and was recommended for approval. This is for an EB1 with my spouse as a dependent, so I don’t know if it’s the same as yours. My lawyer asked me to call USCIS or write a letter asking for clarification. When I checked my case history on the USCIS site, it does not show the completed February interview.

My dad had an interview and received green card November 2018, he just got the letter stating that his November 2018 interview was cancelled and then another one saying he is scheduled for new interview August 22nd, also Federal Plaza. Is there any way to check if this is a glitch ?? It's impossible to get on hold of anyone at USCIS

I didn’t receive an approval notice, and yeah I’m telling my wife we have to prepare because i thought we were fine until I received this notice. IO for the first interview made it seem like I was getting the green card in 2 months because he said wait 4-6 weeks for your green card, but he couldn’t approve it without his supervisor reviewing it.

May you call USCIS and ask for level 2 officer to speak about that. I got after 1 week the update on my case that it would be ready for schedule an appointment for interview. Now, yesterday they have make an correction on it and it says now that my card is being produced. Interview was on 26-June. Good luck!

Hey guys, so my spouse and I have our GC interview this Thursday and I am kind of worried because he is a full-time graduate student and at the time of our application my income was used to support both of us since I already had an EAD (went to school here on F1 visa). I am still currently and legally employed, but I am no longer working at the same job as when I filed and my income (our household income) is way above the poverty threshold. My question is, do you think this will be a reason for them to deny me the GC since my spouse is not working and only I am? Please advise.

Hey Guys I am on same car as many of you, I got my interview on March 14, since then nothing has move, but on May 15 I got my approval for I -130 I am guessing there no need for a second interview but not understanding why my case is taking this long, I did open a ticket for a request of service on July 9 an agent start working on and today I got this answer:
"We researched your case and found that it requires additional review before we can make a decision. We do not know how long this review will take. You do not need to do anything at this time. If we need anything from you, we will mail you a request for evidence. When we make a decision on your case, we will mail you a notice to you or your representative at the address you gave us." I really don't know why can take this long I already contact the Senator office

I just got an update and email stating that my interview has been cancelled and they ordered a notice if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or they need something from me. I’m really nervous but I would be relieved if they just approve my application.
