I've searched first, but couldn't find any relevant info to my case. I didn't dig too deep though, 'cause have not much patience by nature
I've what I consider a strange issue on my hands, and I'm searching for the best way to proceed with a solution(Thanking you with anticipation for your help&advice btw!)
Like my username says it, I'm already a proud owner of a GC. I received it in Dec 2018.
However (and this where the strange part starts!), I just received an I-797C/Request to appear for initial interview for sometimes next month!
So, what will be the best way to solve this obvious screwup?
1. Em the USCIS (already have account)
2.Write to NBC in MO (I live in IN)
3.Call the national 800#

Lately I have read several posts with the same information, already have GC and new interview letter.

I think I read 1 post that the status changed (no letter yet) and then the status changed to interview canceled.

I don't know what others are doing, if I were you I'll call the 800#. It is obviously a glitch because you already had your initial interview and have your GC.
