My interview was scheduled for July 18th at 9am in Oakland Park. We went in 30 earlier and the front desk scanned our appointment letter. Then the girl seemed puzzled and told us there's no IO appointed to our interview. Then she called the supervisor. The supervisor came in and told us that they didn't receive our package yet. She took our appointment letter, noted our cellphone number, and told us they'll call us once the package arrives.
I told this to my attorney and she said she never heard about this before. Then this morning, she sent me another email saying she doubt that the interview office is just using this excuse to buy themselves more time to get ready for a fraud interview. And they may come to visit the house too.
Has anyone heard about this delayed package thing before? I'm thinking, the Oakland Park office should be the one that scheduled the interview. Is this thing even logical?
