I-485 with REQUEST FOR INITIAL EVIDENCE

Hello everyone. First time on this forum. Really lost and would like help.

We sent in our documents to the USCIS in mid April.

On April 29, we get a REQUEST FOR INITIAL EVIDENCE. We submit the additional evidence needed on May 13 and then the USCIS said that the case was received again on May 19th.

To this day, we have not received our BIOMETRICS DATE from form I-765.

I will call the USCIS first thing Monday, but does anyone know what's going on? This whole thing is beyond frustrating...

I have no idea but yes u should call/go there in person !

The biometric fee/appointment is for I-485 and they will use that for I-765. People get biometric appointment even if they don't file I-765.

This is the first time I read someone getting RFE before biometrics letter. Was there something missing in your application?
