Hi everyone, I have been following this for a while now. I really do need urgent response please! My husband who is a U.S citizen, works with the federal government filed i-130 for me, so we filed I 485 and EAD together with the I 130 on 21st of may 2019, got receipt notice a week later, now its being over 2months and we haven't got biometrics appointment letter. Could that means there is a problem with the application we filed? Meanwhile we didn't use a lawyer. Anyone in this situation or who was once in should please help. My receipt number begins with msc... and the lockbox is chicago.

Lately I have seen several reports from people in this situation. Did you file I-864 and I-130A?
You can try calling but most likely they will tell you that you have to wait.Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center

When I called them up they said it could take 'at least' 2 months so since you are over the 2 months I would definitely call them up and ask. I filed in April and still haven't had my biometrics but my situation is a bit different... I got an RFE 1½ month after I filed and then they stopped the clock and resumed my paperwork on July 3rd... and they told me to wait another month for my biometrics.... well the month is over soon and I STILL have not had my biometrics so I will also have to call soon....Originally posted by Adrilly View Post
Apparently the best days to call (least amount of waiting time) are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays!Comment
