hey, I just got out of my interview. The officer basically just asked us how me met and how we end up getting married. He spent most part of the interview looking at our application and evidences. At the end he just took copies of our drivers licenses and her birth certificate and our marriage certificate. My lawyer asked him for an answer and he said we would get it in 2/3 weeks. Had this happened to anyone here? Didn’t get approved at the spot and he didn’t say yes or no. Can someone tell me.

Same thing with me and greencard approved 2 days after. From what i heard they do review your case after the interview but if everything is in order, there's nothing to worry about. Good luck!

He also printed out some paperwork and put on top of my file and placed where all the other files were at. What’s that paperwork?

That didn't happen with me. He only made me sign the adjustment of status form and that's all.
