We received notice that we have been scheduled for an interview. We hadn't submitted the Form I-693 initially because I guess the exam is only good for one year and we weren't sure if we would have the interview by then. Is it appropriate now to schedule the medical exam? Does it have to be done by interview time? Do we just get it done and bring the sealed envelope to the interview or how does that work?

9/3/2019- Green card interview! Approved on the spot
9/6/2019- Received I-485 and I-130 approval notices
9/11/2019- received green card! -
You interview will happen soon now that it is scheduled. I will say you should get it done now. As it may need follow ups also for vaccinations etc.09/19/2019 - Case Approved i130 & i485
06/28/2021 - i-751 sent via UPS
07/02/2021 - Check was cashed & got receipt number starting SRC
07/06/2021 - Received 18 months extension in mail
08/16/2021 - biometrics waived; received i797 in mail. Online status still at case received
11/20/2021 - Received 24 months extension in mail -

Did you receive a 'courtesy letter'? Usually those say that you didn't include form I693 and you should bring it to your interview.
I have read a couple of cases that people near the 2 year marriage anniversary, go to the interview without the I693 and wait for them to RFE, giving them around 3-4 months hoping to get approved after the anniversary and receive an unrestricted 10 year gc. I don't know if I could do it (not in that case anyway).Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
