EAD Renewal - Processing Time

    EAD Renewal - Processing Time

    Does anyone have some experience with the processing times for renewing EAD?
    I sent my renewal package on 7/17/2019, they received it on 7/18/2019 and since then silent (14 days).
    I didn't get until today 7/31/2019 any email or SMS from USCIS - I did attached form G-1145 for both applications (i-131 + i-765).

    Any advice?

    09/27/18 - Fingerprint Review Was Completed (I-485 + I-765)
    09/27/18 - Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview (I-485)
    01/16/19 - Case Was Approved (I-765 + I-131)
    01/19/19 - Received Combo Card
    01/23/19 - Received Social Security Card

    Out of curiosity. Why did you apply to renew your ead if you got it on January (based on your timeline)?

    07/24/18- Documents received
    11/16- I-485,765 and 131rejected
    12/22- New I-485, 765 and 131 sent
    12/27- Documents delivered at 10 am (UPS)
    01/14- Credit Card was charged
    01/14- text messages for I-485 and I-131
    01/22- Received form I-765 back. Got rejected due to incorrect fee??
    01/23-Submitted I-765 again.
    01/31- Early Biometrics appointment
    02/01- Fingerprint Review was completed
    07/30- case is ready to be scheduled for ...
    08/31-EAD in hands
    10/22- Interview (approved)

      I think because EAD can be renewed as many as 180 days in advance and people have no idea when GC interview is coming.
      3/3/19 - filed
      3/6/19 - received by USCIS
      3/12/19 - texts received, checks cashed
      3/16/19 - receipt notices received
      3/23/19 - bio. notices for 4/4
      3/29/19 - biom. walk-in
      6/17/19 - EAD expedite request
      7/16/19 - card is being produced
      7/18/19 - EAD mailed
      7/19/19 - approval notices for EAD
      7/20/19 - combo cards received
      8/6/19 - ready to be sch. for an interview
      12/10/19 - interviews scheduled
      12/16/19 - interview notices for 1/14/20
      1/14/20 - interview & approval
      1/18/20 - card delivered

        Cause it takes up to 8 months to renew the EAD (I found out just recently that on USCIS updated their processing time page for -i765/i-131 to 2.5-5 months).
        In addition, you are allowed to start the process to renew 180 days before the current EAD expire

          Oh,ok. It makes sense since this whole processing time is a joke.
          yes, I saw that. Now my case is out of processing time.

                Good luck on your interview! That’s so weird tho that there’s now update on your combo card renewal... no update on mine either other than they sent me another receipt notice for just the I-765 saying that they are continuing to work on it and that they would use my previous biometrics... I’ve ever read about anyone getting that.. no interview notice for me yet either...

                I-765/I-131- Card received.: 10/26/2018
                11/5/19- INTERVIEW SCHEDULED/NOTICE LETTER RECEIVED!
                12/9/19- Interview/approval on same day/card being produced.
                12/12/19- (email) GC being mailed to me notice received.
                12/13/19- (email) USPS picked up card in mail.
                12/14/19- GC delivered.
