  • Received i-485 approval notice 7 weeks ago, no green card

    Hi,

I have applied for green card through employer based sponsorship. My I-140 was approved in August 2018. I had my biometrics taken and went through the AOS interview on June 17. I got the approval notice for I-485 around June 20, and the approval notice date is marked as June 17. It's been 7 weeks since the approval notice, and I still haven't received the card. USCIS website still says " Interview was completed and My case must be reviewed". The interview was just fine, I mean I got the approval notice , but nothing since. Anyone on the same boat? Any ideas on why this may happening? If I hadn't received the approval notice, I would say my case is still being reviewed, but this is just bizarre.

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
Didnt your approval notice say contact USCIS if you do not recieve your green card in 30 days? You should contact them and see whats going on. Ask for level 2 officer.

      Hi,
I have actually contacted them and created service request, no progress on that end either. I didn't ask for a Level 2 officer, though; do they have more information about the case?

      Thanks,
