Just wanna give my update. On dec 10th,2019 My i485 updated to “Interview was scheduled “, didn’t get the mail yet, we are shocked and surprised, I am queens, New York filer where usual timeline is 14-21 months, but it’s been 3and half months only, Feeling nervous cause we didn’t prepare any documents, pictures yet for interview as we didn’t expect it that early, Yesterday on December 12th i765 changed “new card is being produced”, today it changed to “case was approved”. Yet I didn’t get the update of new card is mailed, do you guys know how long it will take?
my pd was August 28th, 2019Btw I didn’t expedite or never called them.

I have a job offer. So used that letter for expediting EAD. Just received the EAD card today.Good luck

Had my interview 10:30 this morning at Kansas city. The IO was really nice and made us feel real comfortable very quickly. We felt at ease, so the nerves went away. He only asked us how we met? and asked me the yes/no questions on i-485...that's it! Didn't even ask for any originals or passport...which I thought was kinda odd. He just asked for my medical. At the end he said I don't have to worry anymore because he is recommending me for approval! Lasted for about 20 minutes. At 3:00pm my status changed to "New card is being produced".!!!

Question for everyone who has an interview scheduled/already had an interview.
When your interview was scheduled, did you see an update on your mycase online or get a text notification? Or did you only get a notice mailed to you?
I have to change my address, and I'm worried that I'm going to miss a paper notice only.

My 485 case status says "we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485.....USCIS has begun working on your case again..." since December 17 2019. By what time should I expect an update? Also my EAD was filed on same date- 4th of August, will they process everything together or should I try to expedite my 765?
