Well my current work visa expires at March end... I have an approved I-140 from work and they are moving to file for H1b extension in premium processing.. So unless the extensions comes before 30th or is not approved for some reason, I will be put on an unpaid Leave of Absence.. So not sure if they will expedite my application, maybe I should for a little bit? Or there is no harm in trying?City: Denver, CO

Don't tell them about the plan to apply for extension, just tell them that your visa expires March and you will be out of work.City: Denver, CO

They will probably verify receipt number and ask the reason for expedite and you can probably tell ‘Severe financial loss due to loss of employment’ and explain your H1B situation.

So I opened an expedite request for my 765 on 21st January 2020. I was asked to send additional evidence for the expedite request which I did on 24th January.
Now the status of my 765 still says "Expedite Request received"...
I had received an email on 22nd I think asking for additional evidence, and I was able to fax the information on 24th.. but I got an update that my 485 's response to RFE has been received (the same update that I received on 17th December).
Either the USCIS status update process/system is messed up or they didn't link the documents I sent to Expedite request...
