  • didn't receive interview notice twice! what to do?

    Hi everyone.

i filed my i458(based on k1) back in Dec 2017, i received my receipts Jan2018 then EAD combo card May 2018. now my case status online says my interview has been rescheduled, but I never receive any notice in my mail. I didn't even know that my interview had been scheduled! Now on the website says on July18th they rescheduled my interview. but I haven't receive anything in my mailbox yet. It means that I missed the notice twice!

I called USCIS on July 31st 2019 and they had a level 2 officer called me back and the officer was checking my address, everything is correct. then she said that she can put a service request on my behalf to request a reschedule and explained that i never received any notice in my mailbox.

now I just called USCIS again, the level 1 customer service person says that he can see the request been sent and now I am in the queue to be rescheduled. I am really worried that i might miss it again. but i can't think of anything that I can do except waiting.

if you any of you guys experienced or are experiencing this, maybe we can discuss and see what to do?

    Thank you!

call tier 2 customer service and ask your interview date, and ask them to Fax you the interview letter. Are you sure you missed your interview? without even knowing your interview date?

yeah, when the tier 2 officer called me she said that my rescheduled interview date was on July 18th, but the online case status shows that on July 18th they rescheduled my interview. and she also said that if I don't receive anything by 21st Aug, i should all they again and they will tell me the date of my interview.

The system is so last century, I don't believe that they can't make a system where we can see the letters sent in PDF format. Fax? Come on.

Anyone can input a case # but they can't see the personal information, it could be easy to have some security with case number and personal information to have a secure access to those letters.

I didn't have the same situation, but I did have a letter they claim they sent me about missing payment. I received everything else they sent, but this letter. As a result they rejected my case and I had to start all over again 5 months later.
