Pending I-485 & Tax Credits WOTC

Hi,

I have a pending i-485, have just received the right to work and got a job. They have asked me to fill out an online Work Opportunity Tax Credit Questionnaire.

If asks if any of these statements apply to me, one of them being unemployed for 6+ months - which is correct.

Therefore do I answer yes, though I thought I wasn't allowed to be a public charge to the government - therefore I should select no?

Other statements it asks is if i received food stamps, have been convicted of a felony etc...

Hi, I had to fill out this form too for a job application opportunity. I didn't know whether to choose yes or no for this same question so I just picked yes and moved forward with the Questionnaire, I had to answer many other yes and no questions after that that basically resulted in the same answer as "no" in the first place.

So,I think you should answer no, or pick yes and keep going with the questionnaire they'll ask more specific details and you'll figure out that they'll change the answer to "no" for you after that.
