A number or USCIS number for I-485

Hello,

While I was filling out my I-485 the form asks for A number or USCIS number. Currently I am on H-1B but I had previous EADs that has my A# and USCIC# which are the same. The EADs expired
back in 2014. Can I still use the same A# or USCIS# from the EADs in my I-485 or they are not valid anymore? For now I have entered my social in the form.

I think you can. it should remain same regardless of docs expiring... I used the A# the I got from i140 petition and used it on i130 AOS. all my notices and everything have same A#

Thanks for the reply. To be safe can I just not enter the A# and USCIS# and just enter my social in the social box?

You can put in Social in the SSN box. A# and USCIS Acc # say (if any) against them..
Its upto you..
I personally did enter my A# and I left USCIS account # blank. Did not create any problem.
