Hello all,
Here is a quick summary of my case:
On March 4, USCIS received the I-130, I-485 and I-765.
On July 16, USCIS sent a RFE for my wife's 485.
On Aug 13, they received the paperwork submitted by me.
On Aug 21 the USCIS after checking USCIS site, it says "Case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview". Of course, it was a nice surprise because it took only 8 days between the date when they received the copy of my tax return and the decision to move forward on my wife's case. However, the I-130 and I-765 statuses have not changed at all. It says just "Case was received" and here are my questions:
1) Since they are ready to schedule for an interview, does it mean that my i-130 has been approved?
2) My wife has not completed the medical exams and it should be ready for the interview correct?
2) Will USCIS issue her EAD after a successful interview?
Can someone clarify these questions?
Thank you.
