Since your husband has a social security card and using his passport as an ID, he can open up an account at any bank (try Bank of America). He can then ask the bank to add your name to the account as his spouse (you do not HAVE to have social security to be added as joint owner- as long as your husband has his SS card). Explain to the bank you are going thru AOS with USCIS and need to have this as a proof of bona fide marriage.
