I-485 has been status has been updated but not I-130

Hello everyone.

I’m somehow freaking out. I don’t if I should scream with joy or not. My I485 has been on hold after the interview pending approval after RFE was mailed to me. I mailed the response on May 3rd 2019. I just got an alert on the USCIS tracker that card is being produced for the I485 case number. When I go and check the status on the actual USCIS website it shows no no message (just blank) but that case number status for the I485 was updated today Sept 1st. My only worry is the I-I30 was last updated March 5 2018 according to the website.

can they approve I485 without I-130 or the update will happen later?

My 2 year wedding anniversary was June of this year. Will they issue me a 10 year green card? My husband and I are somehow confused at the moment.

Congratulations. Yes you will get the 10 year card

You don't have to worry, usually you see the update for the I-485 and later the I-130. Some people never get the I-130 update but I'm sure that for I-485 to be approved I-130 must be too.

Did you login to both online sites?

Sometimes they update one first, then the other.

Thank you all very much. I just received both approval notices for I130 and I485. The I485 approval notice has category IR6 on it. Does that mean 10 year green card?

From what I read: IR is 10-year GC. CR is 2-year GC.

Yes IR-6 is 10 green card from AOS - spouse of USC
