Hello Everyone,
Hope someone could help me with my concern:
My wife and I filed a long time ago for I-131 green card under marriage Form-A last year and finally in mid-June this year we filed Form-B I765 and I485. I got my biometrics taken in mid-July.
However, I am still an international student and I am using my OPT, which gonna expire in December this year. I am worried that I will not receive my EAD card before December.
1. Should this be a big concern? How long does the EAD card normally takes to produce?
2. If I still don't get my EAD card before my OPT expires, can I still work in the U.S.?
3. If not for 2, can I stay in the U.S. and can I apply for expedited processing now?
I am very concerned because I just cannot leave my job.
