Hi there,
Appeared this morning for AOS spouse based interview at Newark office, Interview time 10:15 am, IO called us ta 12:45 pm.
Started with my wife (US Citizen) with questions about when we met, nervous wife mixed up all the dates which made the officer more suspicious and resulted in in-depth grilling.
However topic moved on from there interview lasted around 40 mins, at the end office (mid-aged African descendant) said that she'll review the details and we shall hear back with 120 days, insisting the fact that it's official 120 but we'll hear way before that.
We left with a very sad mood and much stress.
Is it normal for a Visa officer to not tell the conclusion at the same time? Anyone else here also had to wait before hearing the final answer.
Ah this all is very stressing at this point.
Good Luck everyone.
