      We had our interview today.
I'm the american citizen, my husband is Colombian, he came with a tourist visa and overstayed.
Our priority date is August 26 2018.

The interview was scheduled for 8:30 am. We arrived at 8:00 am.

Around 8:30 am the officer called my husband name.

We did not use a lawyer, so we were alone, only with an interpreter. My husband speaks English but just in case my husband doesn't understand something we brought her,

The officer was nice all the time.

First we took the oath. Then he asked us for our ID's.

Then he started asking my husband about my full name, my date of birth, my parents name.

Then he asked me the same about him. My husband has 2 sons in Colombia, so he asked me for the names and date of birth. (I also have 2 children but he did not ask him about them.)

He asked dates about previous marriages, and dates of divorces.

Then he asked him all the questions in the I-485 form. (That took a lot of time because they're 72 questions, and we use the interpreter there).

Then he asked if I knew my husband's telephone number , which I did so I told him. Then he asked my husband about my telephone number, My husband was honest and he said he did not know it because it is saved as contact and he never has to dial the number. The office said he understand that and asked me for my phone number It was just to verify the information in the forms.

Then he asked if we have bills under both names. I gave him the Car Insurance, the Membership from the gym, the bank statements, my life insurance where is shown that the beneficiaries are my children and my husband. He said that he already had the documents for the home that we purchased together.

I said we have another bank account together but he said one was enough. I asked if he wanted the bill for home insurance, the house taxes, and others bills that I had under both names. He said not necessary,

I had also a 200 photo album. But he say he did not need any more photos (We sent some when we filed the application).

Then he asked me how me met. I told him the story (In a Thanksgiving dinner at one mutual friend's house). He laughed when I told him that we exchange numbers there but my husband waited a week before he called me and that I was about to delete his number. He asked how long before we got married. I said we start dating en Dec 16 2018, then we got married after 7 months on July 16 2019.

On the beginning of the interview my husband was (and looked) nervous but then we decided that he better answer in Spanish and the interpreter would translate and that calmed him down.

At the end we both were relaxed.

He said everything looks good to him. and that we should received a response in around 7 days, He confirmed our home address.

What worries me.. is that he did not say that we were approved. He only said like 2 or 3 times that everything looked good and that he did not need anything else. Also we have only 1 year marriage and he did not explain us about the conditional residence.

He gave us a letter at the end, when it says that the interview was conducted and that if they need more information they will let us know, That is case is under review, Is that bad? or is it a standard letter they give to everyone??

      Thanks, !
