Does IO have the pictures submitted with the applications?

I've heard that IO on the interview day do not have the pictures submitted and s/he has no access to the forms either. It is hard to believe but for those who had interview, Is it true?

We had our interview last week. The IO had the forms and the pictures and other stuff (Bills, Bank statements, etc) that we send with the forms.

Thank you for your reply. It confirms my thoughts and It doesn't make any sense what I had heard about IO asking for the photos because he had none at the moment of interview.

They take a picture to check your identity. They already have your personal photo in their file.

Yes they have everything, the whole package. The officer interviewing us actually looked at the pics (we have like 3 of them lol) and read my short paragraph explaining about the relationship (how we met blah blah blah) before interviewing us.

Thank you. Honestly, I dont see myself printing all those photos again (plus all the photos taken with my beneficiary after sending my forms). I will take what I have +\- 30 photos.
