I’ve been a silent reader since this summer.

My PD is july 2018 and I’m waiting to schedule my an interview since August 27, 2018.
I didn’t apply for combo card, and in December my EAD is about to expired.

How should I apply to renew my EAD ?can I apply for a combo card this time?

I really hope I’ll get a letter soon but also waiting for 14 months already is driving me crazy.

You should be able renew your card 2 month ahead

With the help of your I-485 receipt, I guess you could apply for EAD Renewal without any fee.
