I hear Baltimore does not give you an approval on spot and they are back up with cases. I hope the files move to other field offices to speed up the process.Last edited by Sandracandrade; 09-16-2019, 06:03 PM.

March 21 2019 biometrics
June 8 interview scheduled
july moved to Maryland
August 6 interview canceled
September 10 notice file was transferred

I feel so stupid for moving to Maryland. I would have put this job on hold if I knew Baltimore was literally the worst FO in the country.

So we went to the IRS office in Baltimore today to file our first joint tax return. Well really, to apply for a Tax ID number for my spouse and submitting your federal tax return is required with the W-7 form. We need an ITIN for him to open joint bank accounts and to add him to my insurance policies, etc. Anywho… they said 9 to 11 weeks for processing the ITIN application.9-11 weeks!WTH!?It's like all federal offices in Baltimore run slower than molasses.SMH and sucking my teeth

Congrats to you!!! That is good news for us all. I see it took 8 months from the courtesy letter for the I-693 to the interview day. When did you file and when did your status change to ready for interview? Can you share your timeline please, please and thank you?
