  • Interview cancelled and noticed ordered

Hello everyone, so it’s been over 2 months since I got the interview cancelled and notice ordered update in July. I had my interview in April prior to this notice and everything went well, the IO recommended approval and that I would receive my green card in 4-6 weeks. It’s been more than 5 months since the interview unfortunately. I’ve called uscis multiple times and they said I just have to wait and they don’t have any update on my case. Just wondering if anyone else is stuck in this same situation and what are the possible resolutions for this issue ?

Wow I'm so sorry to hear that. I don't have any advice but just wanted to wish good luck. If they said you were approved for green card, then I'm sure all is good news, but it is possible that the case file may have got misplaced. I suggest calling USCIS and request an appointment at the field office and talk to them, hopefully they can get it sorted.

    Best of luck!

I have read a few posts with the same problem. Some people contact their congressman, senator or the ombudsman. There is not enough information to know why this happens.

Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

All my posts are based on my experience or information I read on the forums or the USCIS website. I may be wrong. Please consult a professional.

Congressional at this point short of getting a lawyer and suing the government. I'm willing to bet it has something to do with all their backend system updates that are just breaking and sending files into purgatory with their CLAIMS system.

I’ll probably have to end up contacting my senator or ombudsman because this wait is ridiculous, and I don’t want to wait a year or two for them to get it together
