I am so happy. They'll be sending the EAD and Advance Parole combo card in the next few days.
Try calling the USCIS phone line and follow up on the status of your application and see what they can do for you.
I requested for an expedite due to a pending job offer and they were quick to help out.
Best of luck to us all. And please share / update your timelines as we're all in this together.
Congratulations on your EAD. Did you have to go to a local meeting at a USCIS?

Hi Everyone - my status just changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" this Friday (Nov 8th). Note, I did not filed for EAD/AP as part of my concurrent filing as my L1 visa is valid until Aug-2020. But if I don't have my interview scheduled by Mar/Apr-2020, I will have to apply for EAD/AP.

I suppose this is where the long wait period starts to actually get an interview date assigned in the local field office. Mine would be in Houston, TX - the posted USCIS processing time is 14-24 months, so there is a long lead time to schedule interviews here. Hope to just not think about how long this is going to take.

Staying hopeful and good luck to everyone.

Mar/Apr-2020 is not that far away. Applying for EAD is free, just follow the instructions and send a copy of the I-485 receipt. I hope you will get your GC before March but you never know, better to be a little safer. Good luck.

I also called and then they told me to go to the local office at a appointment. Unfortunately they only have been able to send a email to the national center to expedite again. How long did it take you to get the expedite done ?

                        Hey Guys,

As I posted earlier, I have expedited my case through a tier 1 officer by calling the national call center on Oct. 31. No updates ever since. I did speak to a tier 2 officer recently and they said that a week later on November 7 my case was assigned to an officer. Almost a week later, and taking into consideration veteran's day closure, I still do not have any update. Did anyone experience something similar? Is it something to be worried about? When I called the phone line, I asked the officer on the line to read out the notes made in my expedite request. It sounded linear to what I told them based on my financial hardship/job loss/+ medical emergencies.

cdmaster77 The only update I got on my I-765 case tracker was a week after I filed the expedite request

On November 1, 2019, we received your request for expedited processing on your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number MSC **** **** ***. We are reviewing your request and will notify you if we need additional information.

When I called in a week ago, they said that on November 7 my case was assigned to an officer. But there are no updated on my case tracker on that.
Is this the same status you are in? Please let me know your timeline on your PD and EAD expedite request. It's taking longer than the typical 5-day turnaround time that they mentioned.

I am not even assigned to a officer yet. I will call again tomorrow friday

No response for 2 weeks still from my EAD expedite request, but the good news on the other hand is that my "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview'' on my I-485.
                                Here is the timeline:

Case Ready to be Scheduled for Interview: 11/14

I really wonder how long it will take from now on to schedule the interview for San Diego field office.
