I am applying from NY Brooklyn, marriage based and we have been married since 2017 waiting for my husband to get his citizenship. He got it on July 2019 and we applied in September 2019.


09/20/2019: I-485, I-765, I-131, I-130 delivered to MO
09/25/2019: Received acknowledgment/notifications
10/15/2019: Received notification for biometrics
10/20/2019: Biometrics Brooklyn
10/25/2019: Fingerprint review was completed
11/14/2019: Case ready to be scheduled for interview

Hi everyone. Also a September filer. No updates for my case until now.

My status is same as yours. My biometrics was done a few days before you, and no change in status to say that it's ready for interview. Many people who submitted around the same date as ours have already got their status being changed to 'ready for interview'. Getting little worried whether I am going to get an RFE.

I applied for adjustment of status in August, 2019. Married my wife who is an American citizen in June, 2019. My ex wife claimed she had filed for divorce 2 years and successfully completed the divorce as she claimed. She sent me the divorce documents. But I don’t trust the documents, she might be trying to get back at me, coz if the document ends up getting verified as **** by USCIS, my application will be thrown out.

Now, someone told me to file for divorce from my ex wife here in the US, even after I’ve married my US wife. Is it possible to do that, when I’m already married? Pls guys advise. Thanks

So everything was going smooth until I got an RFE for proof of US citizenship. Which does not make sense as we applied on the basis of my husbands LPR.

I made a request on November 1st 2019, after sending all the document on November 8th, there is no response until now. Could you please tell me how to create a signature like yours so it can show the timeline when you comment on the post? Thank you.

Hi. Go to user setting by clicking on your username at the top right. In user settings go to account. Scroll down to “conversation detail options” and you will see “edit post signature”.

I expedited my case on November 12th. Good luck
