I am doing my master's degree right now. I plan to do a PhD in the near future.
Changing level of education is an example of SEVIS Transfer, during which SEVIS number stays the same. SEVIS transfer is done by designated school officials (DSO) at both universities.
I am wondering if my I-485 is rejected can I still transfer my SEVIS records from master to PhD or I have to leave the US after completing my masters?
