i-485 Adjustment of Status Interview Completed

Hi,

My son is petitioning for my change of status.

I had the i-485 interview on 07/22/2019. Interview went well and was told to wait for a decision.

Decision has not been made yet and when I check the status on the USCIS website, it states "Interview Cancelled". Mind you, this status was last updated September 14, 2018. USCIS case status page has not been updated to reflect that I even had an interview.

Has anyone had this problem? Is this normal? What should I do?

Hey there. I know it’s frustrating but you can’t always trust the online status thing. Mine was stuck on “case was transferred and a new office has a jurisdiction” for a couple months and all of a sudden my lawyer called me that i had an upcoming interview (the online thing never changed though) and about 10 days AFTER the interview it changed to “fingerprint review was completed” and a day after that it changed to “interview was completed and your case needs to be reviewed”
so it’s really not accurate at all, at least not in my case and your probably not either hang in there!
