05/20/2019 Biometrics done
09/12/2019: RFE request I131 ( requested information: passport copies of my J1visa)
09/19/2019: I485 transferred to National Benefit Centre Lee's Summit MO


No word so far about my EAD its been almost 6 months now and no idea when I will hear back. I had my lawyer send a request to expedite, I reached out to the local congressman. Anything else I can do?

Can anybody shine a light on what to expect. What the timeline will be from now on? to being able to worker travel abroad for over 4 months is becoming vert stressful.

I saw somebody with similar timeline as your except he didn't get RFE. I assume this might have caused the delay on your application. I will post his timeline here when i find it again. Also from EB2 AOS.

I called them Immigration services on Wednesday. The lady was nice but not very helpful, basically just read out what is on the USCIS websites. She could not give me any info about my work permit or travel permit. Thursday night I received an email that my I765 card is being processed. Nothing about my i131.

The IO also said my greencard could take anywhere between 20 to 40,5 months :-/. I hope she is wrong. My lawyer told me I should be getting my greencard by March 2020.
Any experiences on expediting the greencard?

Do you guys think it is kind of harder to get approved for married people. I know married people who are still waiting for their approval after interview, but others who are single get approvals faster. I thought maybe it takes longer to investigate spouses of primary applicants makes it longer and harder to get i-485 approved.

-Biometric mid Jan 2019
-i756 i131 Combo card approved July first 2019
-Case ready to be scheduled July 26 2019
-Int scheduled August 26 2019
-Interview October 3rd - Approved on the spot ... got i551 stamp on my passport (interview is straight forward Yes/No questions. IO only asked for employer s letter only. Didnt ask for any original documents. Didnt ask for any W2 or IRS transcript)
-Received 2 approval notices Oct 8th....one for i485 and one for i485 sup J
- Still waiting for the actual GC

Thank you for setting up an EB thread. I also gathered that EB timelines are very different from FB timelines.

My timeline to share, for me (primary) and wife (dependent):

Concurrent I-485 and I-140 late July 2019
I-140 PP approved early Aug 2019
Biometric appointment late Aug 2019
FP review completed 2 days after appointment
EAD/AP filed mid Sept 2019

Just received a notification from USCIS that my interview has been scheduled. My field office should be Santa Ana. Timeline updated below.

I am still here waiting patiently for our turn. I noticed that the USCIS is slowly moving up with processing cases by dates. Most cases (those that were pending decision for long time) they are working right now are around June, 2019.

August 2018:Received EaD
August 2018:Concurrent application for 2nd time
September 2018:140 approved thru 2nd application
July 2019:Cases transferred to NBC
August 2018: Received 2nd EAD
November 2019:1st application 485 interview scheduled on December 18th San Antonio Field office
November 2019:2nd application 485 notice received.Ready to schedule interview.

Updating our application;

We received RFE on oct 28, 2019 for Wife's (dependent) Birth Certificate. Nothing too specific in the RFE but the BC.
11/07/2019 USCIS recieved RFE response
11/14/2019 USIC sent another RFE - We don't know yet what it is for. Our only hunch is it is still related to RFE.

Question;
Has anybody had similar experience?
