  • Medical Question - Interview coming up

Can someone clarify the new rule for medical. We submitted our paperwork in 3/18 and the medical was signed in 2/18. It's been over a year now, is a new physical needed or are we good? We don't really have the money to spend on a new medical for "just in case", but i also don't want to get an RFE.

    Can someone please assist

The new rule says: "If you submitted the medical before Nov 1, 2018, and the doctor signed the form less than 60 days, then the form is valid for 2 years from the date the doctor signed the document"

Your medical is valid for 2 years from 02/18.

The officer can ask for a new medical anyway. I read a post from someone with a valid 6-month-old medical that the officer asked for a new one and an RFE was sent.
