  • Can you submit evidence (medical) without request notice?

Hi everyone, had my interview a month ago. Everything went fine but she said that she needs a new medical and told me to go to the doctor ASAP, so I have it ready by the time she sends me a notice request.
so apparently, the medical expires in 60 days from the day when it was signed by a doctor.
i have 30 days left to submit it and I was wondering if I can just submit it without there request notice, has anyone done that?

I did it prior to my interview (mailed it to the USCIS field office) and brought another copy to the interview.

No, the medical doesn't expire in 60 days if you already filed I-485, it is valid for 2 years.
      Information based on https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/...rt-b-chapter-4
Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

I applied after 120 days of doing the medical, I just didn’t know this thing about 60 days.
so, when I’m went on interview my officer told me the she needs new medical, she also told me to do it ASAP because she will main nothing that stays that they need my medical right after interview ...
It’s been a month after the interview and I didn’t receive there notice of request the medical..
so I think I can just mail it without notice??

If you applied after 120 days of doing your medical then that medical is not valid per the rule. Your new medical will not expire in 60 days, it is good for 2 years.

I don't know if you can mail it without notice (RFE). I saw some post that someone left the FO, went to the doctor and they just changed the form (they used a previous and no longer valid I-693), after an hour or so went back to the FO and asked for the officer, he was in another interview and they received the medical.

What I would do is call and talk with tier 2 officer, explain the situation that maybe the RFE was lost in the mail and you need to deliver the medical to the officer as soon as possible. They may give you an appointment or just tell you to bring it to the FO. Good luck.
