  • G-1450 Wrong Address, Right Credit Card Number

    Hi all,

Quick question, my spouse and I recently filed paperwork to apply for her green card. I paid all relevant fees using a credit card and form G-1450. We our package was delivered on Sat, September 12.

I suddenly realized today that the billing address that I put on the form was my current address, whereas the address on my credit card file was my previous address. I've gone ahead and changed the credit card billing address to match the one that I put on the form, but I am concerned about what would happen if USCIS already tried to run it.

Does anyone know if USCIS could have run my card with the correct card number, but the wrong address?

    Many thanks,
F1 AOS though marriage to a USC

If they can not run your credit card for whatever reason, they will return the packet to you. Then you can just adjust the credit card details and resend it. A bit of a delay but shouldn't be too bad.
But it's been a month since you sent off your application... you've had no updates since?

Apologies. Meant to say October 12. My concern is everything that is happening with immigration now. Although public charge has been stayed by the courts, I'm concerned about what will happen if the health insurance rules go into effect on November 3 :/

I know EXACTLY what you mean.... I applied in April and I have no idea what would have happened if we were just a few months later.... scary thought! I also used the credit card method and they withdrew the money about a week after I applied.
