I filed in October. They received om 10/15 and I didn’t hear from them.10/15 received by USCIS Chicago lockbox
10/30 they sent the form I-797
10/31 they took the money from my account (I sent the form to pay with my card)

Hi October Filers!! I'm an October Filer recently filed. My package was delivered today LOL. I️ found out about this forum a tad bit too late, so I️ did not know about the form to fill out to get text message updates. I'll be imagining everything based on others timelines until I️ get a letter from them. It kinda sucks I️ didn't fill out the e-notification form but whatever. I'm extremely nervous, anxious, scared etc., but I️ know we will get through this together....hopefully!! Anyone based in Orlando/Central Florida area??F1 to AOS

How funny we all have the same timelines! I was getting anxious after sending our package that we hadn’t heard back after about a week, but we figured the beginning of October is prob very busy since it’s the start of the new fiscal year etc.
Our package was transferred to the National Benefits Center. What about everyone else?

No update since then. But based on others timeline, this may indeed be busy month.
I think it may also have something to do with the new public charge rule that was set to start on 08/15/2019. So many people were rushing to get their applications submitted before then. However, we all know that rule has been suspended indefinitely for now.How funny we all have the same timelines! I filled AOS package for my mom. It was delivered by USPS to Chicago lockbox on 10/14/2019 today 10/24/2019. It’s been 10 days I have not heard from them yet. I’m worried. What should i do? Is there any number to call?Adjustment of Status for my mother

Our package was delivered on Saturday, October 12 but no word since then. There could have been an issue w/ our payment as I paid by credit card and realized that I put my current address, where the CC address on file was my old address, but changed it within 3 days of it being delivered to the Chicago Lock box so hoping that I caught it in time and, as others have said, this is simply related to heavy volume re public charge rule.F1 AOS though marriage to a USC
