October 2019 Filers

October 10th, 2019 filer here (with immigration lawyer). Filed concurrently for I-130, I-485 and I-765.

October 23rd: Notice date on NOA for all

October 30th: NOA received in mail from MO

Early November (can’t remember exact date): Received biometrics appointment

November 18th: Had biometrics done (same day USCIS changed to “fingerprint review was completed).

My case is being looked at, at the National Benefits Center (NBC).


What is the expected wait now for EAD / AP card?

So called USCIS and they still do not have my name in the system as anything being received. it was received and signed for on 10/30/2019 and its been more than 15 days. The rep told me to send an email into the Lockbox support, but already did this morning way before i called. Has anyone else experienced this? Cannot even check to see if the US postal money orders were cashed because I reached the maximum number of inquiry over the phone and the online verification does not even work smh

Same here. My application was delivered on 10/28 and then nothing. The checks are not cashed and no receipt of application.

Oh and i told them I did a concurrent filing stated all the forms I sent and she told me i can only inquire about the I130 as i am the petitioner and the other would have been done by my spouse. I told her I filed them all together but she acted as if that was wrong she totally lost me.

My husband did. Got a generic automatic response saying they would respond within 30 days.... Not helpful at all!

Same here and who knows how many emails they receive daily. the other problem is going to be. Now that the holidays are upon us people are taking vacation which means the man power in the office is not good and things will slow down and not pick up until afterwards.

I filed in October. They received om 10/15 and I didn’t hear from them.

Update: they scanned our forms yesterday. A little bit after a month from us filing. I found out when I called the USCISl early this morning

I am so happy to hear this! It’s so hard to stay patient but I guess it’s a great sign that we all need to trust the process. Breathing a sigh of relief for you!

Sounds about right. My thing is why are they sending out EAD Combo cards & then a month later sending you to interview: what a waste of resources no? But I digress USCIS needs to improve and overhaul their tactics

When can we October filers expect a response or any other notice after biometrics? My biometrics was Nov 18th.

EAD Combo cards are hard to come by lately for some reason And that depends on if your at NBC, Vermont, etc. I have seen on other threads, ppl get EAD Combo cards mere weeks before their Greencard interview whilst others get it and wait an additional 3-9 months for an interview. It all depends on your individual Case AND The processing center that’s handling your paperwork.
For instance am at NBC: they are slow AF & I also have the Newark NJ Field office again: SLOW AF. So I might get my EAD & wait an additional few months before I interview OR they might surprise me & send me to interview by February.
