Update : I spoke to the 2nd Tier officer, who had called me back, and he was extremely nice and helpful. Turns out, they have sent me the biometrics appointment notice, but to the old address ( We got the receipts on the 11th and moved on the same day, even though we went every single day up to the 15th to check the mail at the old place ) even though the new address was changed on the 16th of October. Nevertheless, he said we will send you a new notice with a new appointment within 2 weeksHe did however mention that when changing addresses its better to make a call than to do it online, just to make sure the biometrics department gets it correct, cause in my case they didn't update the address. Also, if you feel like the 1st representative doesn't give you any information, make sure you request a call with a 2nd Tier officer, they are much more helpful and resourceful!

I read this thread, every single day. Tbh, it isn’t healthy for me because it’s making me doubt myself.
Everyone in here will get what belongs to them in their time.
With that said....
I wish everyone here a Happy Holidays: Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, etc.
I will be back in 2020, only if I have my own updates & to cheer you all on with each milestone you have reached thus far until that greencard is in your hands & you no longer feel like a caged bird...be blessed!AOS thru USC Spouse

I am also tired of checking USPS Informed Delivery and egov USCIS several times a day and see no updates. My Package was received on 10/11, received NOA's in the mail on 10/24, and no news about the Biometrics since then. And now we have Thanksgiving break coming, then Christmas, then New Year and all other stuff, god knows when I am going to receive an appointment.
Some people that applied in November have already received their FP appointments, there is no fairness in this total process as far as I can see.

I called USCIS (800-375-5283) at 9:00 and went through all the options it gave me on the automated system, eventually I got to speak to a real person after about 5 minutes on hold.
She told me and I wrote down her officer number and name, and then she asked me a few questions to confirm who I was: alien or receipt number, full name, address, phone number.
What was my reason for calling?
I said job offer and financial loss. She told me that I would receive a response (hopefully) within 5 days but could be longer — and not to worry if it was longer. Someone from the NBC will contact me.
They will most likely need documentation / evidence to prove financial loss / job offer.
Finally, she sent the request and gave me a confirmation number.

There probably won’t be any updates regarding my expedite or anyone else’s cases in USCIS given it’s Thanksgiving tomorrow so I’m going to log off until next week (and then it’ll be December!)
