Only I-485 and I-765 need fingerprint and will be updated after.. but I know a lot of cases never get any update on fingerprint, like me...

Our twinning streak is officially one day off now lol.

Quick question: are you receiving text/email updates with this RFIE? I’m signed up to receive both but have not received either. My updates are just from checking case status online.

Nope, don’t get any updates on either the mail or text. Hope to hear back soon.

I have read through a lot of recent timelines, and usually the case status changes to ‘Interview Ready to be Scheduled’ about two weeks after the response to the RFIE is sent. Hopefully we see some updates soon, especially the biometrics. Talking about biometrics, have you talked to USCIS lately about it?

Not since the RFIE. I hope we get the “Interview Ready to be Scheduled” soon. I’ve also seen that update on several timelines 2-3 weeks after the RFIE response is received. I’m hesitant to call again for now until the process plays out. No updates to my online SR for the biometrics either. Please stay in touch as things update on your end and I will do the same!

RFE for notarial certificate of birth (Chinese born), did a bunch of research over the weekend and very confused. Originally submitted medical certificate of birth in Chinese and certified in English. If USCIS asking for Notarization, is it to notarize the English translation or to the content of original certificate..the latter seems need to be done back in my hometown which my Chinese ID has already expired 3 years ago.
                  Anyways, good luck to all!
Oh no! My case is almost exactly like yours. Chinese born filing for I485. Guess I should expect a RFE after my Bio appt then. Can I asked which company translated your birth certificate?

It was for Form I-864 (864W in our case), which we submitted in the package when we originally filed. Sent a new completed form with an ink signature and the supporting documentation.

                    • Hi everyone! So from what I am seeing, most of the people that get their fingerprints review completed are getting their status changed to "interview ready to be scheduled" in about 15/20 days. I was thinking that I got my fingerprints done on the 9th, so I am assuming that my status change should be posted around Christmas. But since the holidays are just around, I think they are going to work on my case in January. I shouldnt be negative though and should think that USCIS is going to send me my Christmas present on time lol
