October 2019 Filers

Hey guys, I've been reading this forum for some time and it's my first post here. My wife had her biometrics done on January 7th, but since then there are no updates. Case status still shows that fingerprint fee was received on December 16th. As I see here almost everyone's status gets updates on the same day with biometrics or the next day. Did anybody have the same situation as we do? Thanks in advance for your help

I believe so! Still have to wait up to 2 weeks to get my EAD card and maybe another week to get my SSN

Good evening everyone. We got our interview notice today. Dated 1/6/2020.

February 20 @ 850am.

Our timelines are very similar and we have the same office. I'm waiting for the actual notice with my interview date but it is on its way! Crossing fingers for both of us

Our situation is kinda tricky. Hubby and I are still leaving separate because of work. I leave in southwest Michigan and he leaves on the East side (Plymouth area). I'm preparing to have a tough interview.

Oh I see. Well I hope everything works out in your favor. We all deserve a chance to live right and come out from the shadows. It's a real bad situation to live like this. Am praying for my hubby to have a positive outcome as well.

Hi!! Same situation here. I had biometrics in late December and still nothing. Don't worry. It doesn't update evenly. What is your field office?

I am also a non-concurrent filer like you. The priority date is irrelevant when scheduling an interview. They look at the Receipt Date rather than the Priority Date. The Priority Date shows the earliest date that you could apply.

My wife and I applied for her Adjustment of Status which was received October 30th through the Chicago office. We applied with all forms at once (I-485, I-130, and I-765). Yesterday (1/13), we received a notice that our interview had been scheduled (Interview ready to be scheduled notice was given on 1/10 just 3 days prior ). My I-130 hasn’t even been approved yet (still days “case was received”)? Is this speedy turnover normal?

Our timelines are very similar. I've seen like other 3 people who got scheduled in the same 7 day period and they all filed end of October/beginning of November. Hopefully it's not a bad sign...

We have the same field office. Prepare for the wait, I’ve seen that Newark office is slow
